The Ensworth Tigers swept the BGA Wildcats in DII-AA action last night at Ensworth.

The Lady Tigers, led by Kennesha Nichols with 22 points and Christina Slay with 16, defeated the Lady Wildcats 65-28. Kaitlin Davis and Mary Hannah Winstead each netted 8 points apiece to pace the Wildcats.

Ensworth beat BGA 81-69 in the boys’ game. Corn Elder scored 17 points, William Downey had 11, D’Andre Ferby netted 13, and Andrew Fleming chipped in 12 points. Jordan Smith and Gavin Shellnut each scored 14 points for the Wildcats.

Maplewood beat Whites Creek 64-60 in boys’ game at Whites Creek. Jason Stone led the Panthers with 17 points, while Eric Hall and Kenny Robertson each scored 13 for the Panthers. The Cobras of Whites Creek were paced by Steven Nick with 11 points, while Jerren Moore and Thomas Webb each netted 10 points apiece.
